National Crime Reading Month

As we all struggle to deal with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, please bear with us; we are showing events as cancelled when we are told this is the case and sometimes this might lead to out-of-date information being visible.

If you are organising an event on this site that you’re sadly having to cancel, please let us know.

With the increased isolation we’re all undergoing, one of the activities to get through this is reading – and what better than to re-read some of our favourite crime novels or explore new ones?

Where to find info about them?

Pop along to the Crime Readers’ Association
www.thecra.co.uk

As well as blog posts from authors on the site, you can also sign up to receive the monthly CRA Newsletter and the bi-monthly ezine Case Files, containing lots more information about writers and crime writing.

There’s an Archive section if you’d like to read back issues, and a Find An Author feature to look up more facts about your favourite authors.

Good health – and happy reading.

National Crime Reading Month is a unique festival, held throughout the UK, which promotes the crime genre, both fiction and non fiction.

NCRM is held every May throughout the month. Sometimes a few events spill over into June! For instance the biggest of the lot in 2020: CrimeFest.

In the meantime we are busy working behind the scenes to help facilitate and publicise hundreds of events across the country.
